Frequently Asked Questions

Everything our clients ask before we start — all in one place.

General — Who is Rasma?

What exactly is Rasma?

Rasma for Marketing & Tech Solutions is a creative-tech solutions provider in Tripoli, Libya, combining AI-powered marketing, digital app development, and creative works under one roof. Founded in 2018, its team holds more than 16 years of combined experience, serving 50+ clients per year with an 88% retention rate.

What sets Rasma apart from other advertising agencies in Libya?

We are not a traditional advertising agency. We blend 16 years of creative and marketing experience with modern AI and digital-product development capabilities. That means a client in Libya gets a single partner for identity, website, campaigns, and automation instead of managing 4 separate vendors.

Which cities do you work in?

We are based on Abu Mashmasha Island – Al-Nasr Street – Tripoli, Libya. We work with clients across all Libyan cities. For digital projects (websites, apps, AI) we serve clients regionally and globally, remotely and efficiently.

How do I start a project with Rasma?

Step one: book a free 30-minute consultation via the consultation form on our site or WhatsApp at 00218 91 5855500. We listen to you, assess your needs, and provide a detailed proposal within 48 hours.

What are your working hours?

We work Sunday to Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM Libya time. For emergencies you can reach us via WhatsApp outside working hours.

Do you offer services outside Libya?

Yes. Our digital services (websites, apps, AI solutions) are available globally and remotely. Creative-works services (exhibitions, printing) are delivered specifically in Libya.

What is the difference between Rasma and freelancers?

Rasma is an integrated team, not a single individual. We have designers, developers, and AI specialists working together. The key difference: continuity (88% of our clients stay), consistent quality, and the ability to deliver large multidisciplinary projects under one roof in Tripoli.

Artificial Intelligence

What AI services do you offer in Libya?

Three main categories: (1) AI for content and design — generating AI-assisted posts, designs, and campaigns. (2) Chatbots and AI agents — WhatsApp/website bots for Arabic customer service and process automation. (3) Custom AI solutions for businesses — LLM apps, RAG over internal data, smart analytics, and recommendation systems.

How much does building a WhatsApp bot for my company cost?

A simple bot answering FAQs: 3,000–7,000 LYD. An advanced bot integrated with a booking system or CRM: 7,000–20,000 LYD. Cost depends on complexity, number of integrations, and data volume. We provide an accurate estimate after a free discovery workshop.

Is our data safe when using AI?

Yes. We use models configured to protect data privacy (no-training mode), sign an NDA before starting any project, and offer the option to deploy on your own infrastructure (self-hosted) for sensitive projects in Libya and abroad.

Can AI replace my marketing team?

No, and we do not recommend it. AI is a powerful tool that speeds up work and automates repetitive tasks, but strategic decisions, authentic creativity, and understanding the Libyan market need humans. We recommend integrating AI as a force multiplier for your team, not a replacement.

Can AI write content in the Libyan dialect?

Yes, models can be trained on examples of your preferred dialect. But we advise simple Modern Standard Arabic for official content because it reaches a wider audience. For direct communication (bots, messages) the Libyan dialect can be used easily.

Which platforms do your bots support?

WhatsApp (the most requested in Libya), the website (web chat), Telegram, and Messenger. The bot can be built on one or more platforms depending on where your audience is.

Does the bot learn and improve over time?

Yes. We set up the bot with conversation memory and a mechanism to learn from new questions. Each month we review conversations and update the knowledge base to improve answer accuracy.

What data do I need to provide to build an AI solution?

It depends on the type of solution. For a customer-service bot: FAQs + company policies + product catalog. For a RAG solution: company documents (PDF, Word, databases). For analytics: historical customer data. We help you organize the data during the discovery workshop.

Apps & Websites

How long does it take to build a corporate site, online store, or web app?

Corporate site: 3–5 weeks. A full e-commerce store: 6–10 weeks. A medium web app (SaaS / ERP): 3–5 months. The exact timeline is set after the first free discovery workshop.

What technologies do you use?

We pick technology per project. Default stack: Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind for the frontend, Node.js or Python for the backend, PostgreSQL/Supabase for databases, OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini models for AI, and Vercel/Railway/AWS for hosting.

Do we own the code in the end?

Yes, entirely. We hand over the full Git repository, technical documentation, and any keys or service accounts. No lock-in. You can continue with us or with any other team.

Do you provide post-launch support?

Yes. Every contract includes a free 30-day warranty after launch. Then we offer monthly maintenance packages covering updates, technical support, backups, and performance monitoring.

Do you build iOS and Android mobile apps?

We build next-generation web apps (PWA) that work on all browsers and devices. For native apps (App Store / Play Store) we partner with specialists or use React Native depending on requirements.

What is the difference between a website and a web app?

A corporate website presents information about your company (static pages). A web app lets users log in, manage their data, and perform operations — like a dashboard or a SaaS platform.

Can the site be connected to my accounting system?

Yes. We integrate with accounting systems common in Libya and the Arab world. If your system is custom, we connect via API. We discuss integrations in detail during the discovery workshop.

How do you ensure app security?

We follow OWASP standards: data encryption (HTTPS + TLS), protection against SQL injection and XSS, secure authentication, rate limiting, and security testing before launch. For sensitive projects we provide penetration testing.

Creative Works

How long does a complete visual identity take?

Logo only: 1–2 weeks. A full identity (logo + color systems + fonts + applications + brand guidelines): 3–5 weeks. The timeline depends mainly on the number of review rounds.

Do you offer printing services in Libya?

Yes. We work with the best print houses in Tripoli and oversee quality from design to delivery. Or we hand over print-ready files if you prefer to print them yourself.

How much does an exhibition stand in Tripoli cost?

It starts from 8,000 LYD for a 9 m² stand with a simple design, and reaches more than 40,000 LYD for large, custom-designed stands. The price includes design, build, and on-site supervision in Tripoli.

Do you manage social media monthly?

Yes. Monthly management packages start at 1,200 LYD and include an AI-assisted content plan, 20–30 posts, design, publishing, comment engagement, and a monthly KPI report.

What file formats do you deliver for designs?

We deliver source files (AI, PSD, Figma) + final formats (SVG, PNG, PDF) in various sizes + brand guidelines as an interactive PDF. All your files are stored and available at any time.

What is the difference between Brand Guidelines and a Style Guide?

Brand Guidelines is a comprehensive document covering visual identity (logo, colors, fonts) + tone of voice + usage rules. A Style Guide focuses on the visual side only. We provide full Brand Guidelines for every identity project.

Do you offer photography services?

Yes. We shoot products, food, events, and locations in Tripoli and Libya. We also collaborate with specialist photographers for outdoor and industrial shoots.

How do you choose the right colors for a brand?

We start from the brand’s personality, sector, and target audience in the Libyan market. We research color psychology and cultural connotations, then present 2–3 visual options to choose from.

Pricing & Engagement

How do you price your projects?

Two models: (1) Fixed price for well-scoped projects (identity, website, campaign). (2) Monthly retainer for ongoing services (social management, maintenance, AI ops). We provide an initial price estimate after a free 30–60 minute discovery workshop.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. We offer a free first 30-minute consultation session to understand your needs and assess whether we are the right partner for you in Libya. Book via the consultation page or WhatsApp.

What payment options are available?

Local bank transfer in Libya, cash, and cards via trusted payment gateways for clients outside Libya. Typically a 40–50% first payment at project start, with the rest in installments or on delivery.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes. We sign a standard NDA before any detailed discussion. You can also ask us to sign your company’s own NDA, which we review and sign.

What is the minimum project budget?

There is no formal minimum. Realistically: visual-identity projects start at 2,000 LYD, websites from 5,000 LYD, and AI bots from 3,000 LYD. We offer solutions to fit different budgets.

What does the price include?

The price includes: a discovery workshop, design and development, defined review rounds, final delivery (files + code), and a free 30-day warranty after launch. No hidden fees.

Do you offer discounts for large projects?

Yes. Large-scope or long-term projects get preferential pricing. We discuss this during the free consultation.

How We Collaborate

How is communication handled during the project?

We set up a dedicated WhatsApp group for daily communication, weekly meetings via Google Meet or Zoom, and written progress reports. Our team in Tripoli is available during official working hours.

How many design revisions are allowed?

Our contracts usually include 2–3 review rounds. Additional rounds are available at extra cost. We state the number explicitly in the contract to avoid surprises.

What happens if I am not happy with the result?

We make sure to involve you at every stage to avoid this. If you are not satisfied after the agreed review rounds, we offer an additional free review round. Our goal is a result that satisfies both parties.

Do you sign formal contracts?

Yes. Every project starts with a contract defining scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, and payment terms. Contracts are formal and legally binding in Libya.

How do I request maintenance after launch?

We offer monthly maintenance packages starting at 500 LYD/month including: security updates, bug fixes, backups, and performance monitoring. You can start or stop the subscription at any time.

Can I track project progress?

Yes. We use an Agile methodology with weekly sprints. You get regular updates and can review the work at each stage before moving to the next.
