About me

I build AI solutions and applications that actually run in the Libyan market — not presentations about them.

My background is not purely technical: 17 years in design, advertising, and marketing, including six years at the Libyan Islamic Bank where I launched Islamic financing products and led an assignment to build a customer support team that supported and resolved issues for more than 19,400 customers in six months. That background is what makes the systems I build solve real operational problems instead of being technical demos.

Today I lead Rasma Advertising through its shift toward AI-powered marketing and digital product engineering.

Current products and projects

What I am building at Rasma today.

Nasher — a social publishing SaaS platform

A smart publishing platform aimed at the Libyan market, built on Next.js and Supabase with Facebook Graph API integration. Positioning: AI-powered infrastructure for Arabic content. The project is pre-launch, and its scope covered market research, product strategy, tech-stack planning, and API integration.

Customer service & sales agent — connected to Odoo

An AI agent running on Facebook Messenger (a WhatsApp version is in development): it runs a diagnostic conversation to understand the client’s business and requirements, then delivers a marketing consultation and a service proposal; it automatically generates preliminary pricing and invoices by pulling from the product and service inventory in Odoo; and it is connected to the customer database — retrieving past service history, logging impressions and interests, then creating a service ticket and routing it by category.

AI advertising video production pipeline

A documented seven-stage methodology I used to produce a complete advertising piece in 40 working hours over 15 days, starting from just two images: script → character sheet to lock the character → storyboard and location sheet → image generation with disciplined prompting → animation with a single camera move per shot → audio and jingle → final edit.

Print and promotional gifts store

An e-commerce store (web + mobile app) for printed materials and promotional gifts. It combines automatic pricing for small orders with a quotation system for large ones, plus an in-site design editor alongside a design service and client logo upload.

Nabih — an Arabic marketing consulting agent

An AI agent built on a five-stage consulting framework (analysis, positioning, strategy, execution, measurement), covering SWOT/TOWS, the BCG matrix, brand archetypes, the Value Proposition Canvas, and KPI trees.

Parallel assignment: founding and building the customer support team

Libyan Islamic Bank

Alongside my communications and media responsibilities, I was assigned to build the bank’s customer support team from scratch — preparing customer support across every dimension: organizational, technical, and human.

  • Founded the team from zero: staffing, rotation across the bank’s departments, and comprehensive foundational training on all customer service skills.
  • Launched the 1540 short number dedicated to the bank’s customer support, and ran two shifts with live coverage from 9:01 to 22:00.
  • Built the support ticketing system on Jira with three categories (support request / complaint / inquiry), standardizing data entry and generating periodic service-quality reports.
  • Designed a QR and NFC ticket-opening mechanism at ATMs and branch offices, capturing the customer at the moment of the problem and routing it automatically to the responsible department.
  • Ran a team competency assessment across 8 dimensions and commissioned a banking-specific training program based on its results.

Results (H1 2024 vs. Q4 2023):

  • Supported and resolved issues for more than 19,400 customers in six months — across 6,427 voice conversations and 13,016 new text conversations.
  • Calls grew from 346 (December 2023) to 1,742 (May 2024) — a peak of +403%.
  • Messaging grew to a peak of 3,539 new conversations in February — +176%.
2021 – 2022

Head of Product Marketing

Libyan Islamic Bank

  • Led the launch of Islamic financing products from drafting procedures to market sizing, launch, and optimization.
  • Manfa’a (Ijarat Al-Manafi’) — a full year of development; a retail financing product covering travel, Umrah, flight tickets, education, and health.
  • Murabaha, installment sales, and Buy & Pay Online.
  • Contributed to business model design and value definition, and negotiated and contracted with service providers.
